The Australian Microbeam Analysis Society (AMAS) will be holding their sixteenth biennial symposium at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Queensland this February.
A special interest group of the Australian Microscopy and Microanalysis Society (AMMS), AMAS will be joining with the Focused Ion Beam specialist interest group (FIB-SIG) of the AMMS in program and workshop offerings.
The symposium aims to provide a forum for participants to discuss microanalysis and imaging, emphasising applications, practical solutions, and recent advancements in techniques, with a range of introductory and advanced workshops covering multiple techniques in microanalysis taking place at The University of Queensland for two days leading into the symposium.
