The SidePak™ AM520 Personal Aerosol Monitor is a small, portable, battery-operated, data-logging, single channel, light-scattering laser photometer that provides real-time aerosol mass concentration and response concentration readings of respirable dust, respirable silica and diesel particulate matter (DPM, .08um) within a worker breathing zone. The new feature set allows for dual display and logging of respirable silica and diesel particulate matter. Aerosol concentration is displayed as total mass concentration and the response factor output which is based on the percent content of either respirable silica or DPM.
Additional SidePak Monitor inlet conditioners add to the mass concentration capabilities providing size fraction cut points for PM10, PM4 (Respirable), PM5 (China Respirable), PM2.5, PM1 and Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM, at 0.8 μm).
